Oakdene Services installs first four-colour RMGT 920 LED-UV in Northern Ireland

Oakdene Services has taken delivery of the first LED-UV press in Northern Ireland in the shape of a four-colour RMGT 920 SRA1 press.

Flexpress switches RMGT install plans

Trade printer Flexpress has cancelled its order for an RMGT 970 LED UV press due to manufacturing delays and will now instead take on an RMGT 920 ST4 CD LED-UV machine. The Leicester-based business will take delivery of the SRA1 920 ST4 CD this summer. It will be supplied by Surrey-based MPL, an M Partners company.

Harlow Printing Adds RMGT 920 with LED-UV

South Shields-based Harlow Printing has become the latest leading UK print business to install an RMGT 920 offset litho press equipped with the market leading LED-UV curing system. The four-colour press joins a line-up that includes two mini webs, two B2-format litho presses, and several SRA3 machines, along with digital equipment from Xerox and Ricoh.

Celebrations for Largest Ever RMGT Press Order!

Litho press manufacturer RMGT has finalised its largest ever order for sheet-fed offset litho presses following the recent successful China Print exhibition. Yintong Corporation, a Chinese web-based printing group with branches throughout the country, has placed an order for a total of 56 RMGT presses.

BCQ to Remove 2 x B2 for 1 x A1 RMGT Press

Buckingham-based BCQ Group has become the latest UK printer to announce the purchase of a new RMGT press – an RMGT 925 five-colour offset litho machine. The A1-format machine will replace two existing B2-format Heidelberg presses, and is expected to produce even more print, as it will eventually run on 24/5 expanded shifts. The press is being purchased from MPL, the Surrey-based UK distributor for RMGT presses.

Pyramid Press Purchases New RMGT B1 Press, complete with Smart Assist Printing Feature

Nottingham-based Pyramid Press has announced the purchase of a new RMGT 1050 six-colour offset litho press, complete with Smart Assist Printing, RMGT’s automated printing system. The press is being purchased from MPL, the Surrey-based UK distributor for RMGT presses.

Tunbridge Wells-based Heronswood Press has announced details of the purchase of an RMGT 924 LED press to replace its two existing B2 format presses. The machine has been supplied through an MPL partner company and installed by the UK’s official RMGT distributor MPL, Surrey.

Timed Automated Plate Loading

Three RMGT video files are now available on our web site for you to view these three alternatives. Firstly, a semi-automatic version for a fast and economic change over; secondly, a fully automatic plate change, leaving the operator free to add paper into the feed, or clear the previous job from the delivery end of the press; or thirdly, for the ultimate in press efficiency, we have the fully automated simultaneous change over.
